Answering prompts on standardized tests is often a confusing and complicated task for many students. By using the Do-What strategy, students create a t-chart of the requirements needed to successfully complete the prompt. This pre-writing strategy creates a checklist for use during the editing and revision stage of writing and can be used at all grade levels.
