While virtual and blended learning models are intended to create more options and flexibility for students, they aren’t inherently effective for learning unless they’re designed using research-based principles about how people learn. Just as we shouldn’t expect a pdf of a worksheet on an iPad to be the best use of technology, we also shouldn’t expect for “sit and get” pedagogy to be the best use of virtual or blended learning. Learn frameworks and strategies for improving pedagogy and personalization in any learning model.
